The Child Abuse Symposium will create an environment of collaboration and multidisciplinary interactions among professionals in the child maltreatment field throughout Mecklenburg County and surrounding areas. The symposium will develop and enhance the participants’ professional skills and knowledge with the most updated and latest information regarding the prevention, recognition, investigation, and understanding of psychological, cultural, and socioeconomic factors impacting the abuse of children.
