Description

IHE Logo
The Institute for Healthcare Excellence (IHE) in partnership with the International Myopain Society (IMS) has co-created a training course for healthcare professionals to improve nonopioid and care management of patients with pain conditions that includes the patient, family, and caregiver experience by generating an environment of excellence and long-term success. The centerpiece initiative is learning to improve quality and safety in healthcare by acquiring skills of clear and effective communication, shared decision-making, and patient-centered care to create a culture of trust, compassion, patient empowerment, and excellence in pain management.

Transformative care includes both training and treatment of patients to achieve long-term success
and patient satisfaction while enhancing the joy and resiliency of clinical practice. These skills are woven throughout the CUE for Pain Management Transformation Program.
