Description

Irrefutable evidence confirms that early experiences alter brain architecture in children. Most children and adolescents spend numerous hours per day engaged with screens, far exceeding the maximum time recommended by experts. This program will focus on the connection between screen time and adolescent behavior and mental health outcomes. The presenter will explore numerous strategies designed to replace disruptive behavior in children and adolescents with pro-social behavior, and specifically address time spent on screens. The evidence supporting behavioral interventions will be examined and the concepts learned in this program will be applied to various cases.
