The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) developed this curriculum to assist caregivers with the needs of children who have been hurt by abuse or neglect. It is an evidenced-based curriculum proven to be effective at educating and enhancing the skills of caregivers. Participants will learn about the impact of trauma, trauma triggers, and techniques to cope with behaviors, secondary trauma, as well as how to care for themselves. While this curriculum is designed for caregivers, it is adaptable to meet the needs of professionals wishing to assist families.
