Description

This Live Webinar Training is funded through Mecklenburg County ReCAST, a SAMHSA-funded grant initiative.

General concerns and anxieties can be difficult for parents, caregivers, and community leaders to manage during the best of situations -- but what happens when you're trying to manage during a pandemic? Take a break for self care by joining the ReCAST Toolbox. This is a 4-hour interactive virtual workshop based on the Reconnect for Resilienceā„¢ Community Connection curriculum. Participants will gain resilience tools and resources to address trauma, toxic stress, and anxiety in everyday life. Leave with self-regulation tools, knowledge about how to bring negative emotions back into balance, and awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). This is a safe space to help participants practice tools to use for individual self care. No cost to register.
