The purpose of this online module is to increase shared knowledge in the community of the strategies, tools, and resources for trauma-informed approach and resilience. This online module is funded through Mecklenburg County ReCAST, a SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) grant awarded to Mecklenburg County Public Health. ReCAST supports community-based approaches to improving trauma informed care and resilience for systems, organizations and communities.
General concerns and anxieties can be difficult to manage during the best of situations, but what happens during an international pandemic? This online module will provide a brief overview of how anxiety can impact general functioning and functioning in crisis. This online module will offer different strategies that can be used to decrease the impact of anxiety during this unprecedented time in the country and personally.
