Description

New Course Date & Time:
Saturday, March 21, 2020 - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

This course will provide a systematic running assessment tool used to analyze the different phases of running. Participants will then correlate the physical examination with the treadmill running analysis results to classify the runner into the following treatment classifications: mobility, stability and technique. We will then classify the most frequent faulty running patterns into groups with common associated pathologies.

The second half of the course will go over didactic and clinical rehabilitation of the treatment-based classifications. Case studies will be demonstrated, and participants will have the opportunity to go through the physical examination and running analysis.

Featuring Expert Faculty from the Atrium Health Learning Academy:
Matt Minard, PT, DPT, OCS, CMTPT, CSCS, Cert. MDT
Residency Trained in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedics
Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (Dry Needling)
