Participants will get a quick overview of the purpose of an inspection and the administrative items reviewed. They will gain an understanding for safety in the “Radiation Area”. They will also learn how to develop a properly written Radiation Safety Program with in-depth description of each requirement for radiation safety and how it affects radiation exposure to the occupational worker and patient. Principle applications of radiation safety will be discussed.
