Description

Are you a new leader who has assumed a new role? Do you want to make a transition to a a new leadership role and make the transition successful? If you answered YES, this is the program for you! This interactive program will help the new leader assess and develop their team, share and carry out their vision and create a team mission statement.

This interactive program supports new leaders who have assumed a new role or those targeting a new leadership role and want to make the transition successful. The priorities and expectations of an individual contributor shift when assuming a leadership role, requiring personal change and growth, beginning with self-awareness. The ability to influence and accomplish success through others, as a new or transitioning leader, is most critical to success. In this interactive program the new leader, or those considering transitioning to leadership roles, will understand how to make a strong, successful impact during the transition and ongoing. This program will also help the new leader assess and develop the team, share and carry out their vision, and create a team mission statement.

ACHE Credits Information
The Charlotte AHEC is authorized to award 6.00 hours of pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit for this program toward advancement, or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in this program wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit must self-report their participation. To self-report, participants must log into their MyACHE account and select “My Education Credit” to log hours earned.

  • Discuss strategies to identify poor performers to develop them and/or provide supporting resources
  • Identify strategies to reconstruct the team culture
