Description

In this 1 ½ hour training, participants will build upon their knowledge of Community Health Assessments, focusing particularly on successful strategies and best practices for the collection and analysis of primary data. The session will cover specific requirements for Community Health Assessments in N.C. and Community Health Needs Assessments by not-for-profit hospitals, and explore the methods of primary data collection and their relative advantages and disadvantages in making inferences and generalizing to the larger population. The concepts are critical in assuring representation and inclusion within the primary data collection process, and participants will discuss balancing best practices and feasibility of primary data collection methods.
