Charlotte AHEC strives to fulfill the mission of providing quality educational opportunities and services for all healthcare professionals by building partnerships, promoting recruitment and retention of healthcare professionals, and advancing healthcare quality in the communities we serve.

Mission

To lead the transformation of healthcare education and services in the Charlotte region and beyond, we've partnered with several local community and healthcare leaders to establish the Charlotte AHEC Regional Advisory Committee. The goal is to gather diverse information on the trends and updates related to community and regional needs impacting health education. In this way, Charlotte AHEC commits to bring valuable educational opportunities and services that matter to you and our community.

Prospective Members

Responsibilities

  • Serve 2-year term beginning January 1st with the possibility for renewal
  • Attend quarterly meetings and other events as requested
  • Be informed of the Charlotte AHEC curriculum, services and activities and inform others
  • Support and advise Charlotte AHEC in the development of relevant education opportunities across disciplines
  • Collaborate with Charlotte AHEC staff and other committee members to ensure that Charlotte AHEC is delivering learning content that is current and relevant

Applications for the Charlotte AHEC Regional Advisory Committee for the January 2022–December 2023 will open October 1, 2021.
