Description

Everyday our patients and clients utilize squat patterns, often without realizing it. Lifting items from the floor, transferring on and off the couch or the toilet, and getting in and out of the car are all movements that commonly employ a squat technique. As these movements are deeply rooted in everyday function, professionals who promote function would benefit from developing an excellent understanding of the squat. With this understanding we can properly identify reasons why someone may be experiencing pain or difficulty and help answer tough questions posed by clients and patients in the wake of these symptoms. The course is offered to healthcare practitioners working to improving a client’s or patient’s function and fitness, or those wanting to learn more about the squat for themselves.

Registration Extended! Final day for registration: Thursday, 7/20/2023. Seats are limited - 12 remain.
*Please wear comfortable clothing for laboratory activities.*
