Target Audience

Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, psychologists, licensed professional counselors, educators, school personnel, mental health professionals, clinicians, health and human service practitioners, and other health care professionals.

Description

This activity focuses on the 4 quadrants of BHI and how to prioritize managed care of the individual patient or family. The North Carolina AHEC Program has provided funding for Charlotte AHEC to take the lead on a statewide effort to provide education and resources to primary care providers focusing on screening and management of mental illness in adult patients.

This activity is offered at no cost and is grant funded by the NC AHEC Program.
