Target Audience

Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, psychologists, licensed professional counselors, educators, school personnel, mental health professionals, clinicians, health and human service practitioners, and other health care professionals.

Description

This activity focuses on expanding the definitions of BHI to understand the multiple definitions, assumptions, and roles that each team member has in the process. The North Carolina AHEC Program has provided funding for Charlotte AHEC to take the lead on a statewide effort to provide education and resources to primary care providers focusing on screening and management of mental illness in adult patients.

This activity is offered at no cost and is grant funded by the NC AHEC Program.
