Description

Registration for the Summit has closed.

In collaboration with Cabarrus Public Health Interest 501c3 (CPHI) and the Cabarrus Health Alliance (CHA), a call to action has been issued to place an equity lens on various strategies to promote the highest level of individual and community health through collaborative action. Adjusting to the new norms of the world, as a result of the global pandemic, it is obvious the need to address existing inequities is even more critical.

The CHAsm Summit is intended to highlight the importance of incorporating equity based practices into public, private and non-profit sector work to address disparities faced by communities, both physically and systemically. By hosting a diverse sector of speakers, the conference will elevate thought-provoking topics centered on best practices for promoting equity that can be integrated into any field. Attendees will be challenged to assess their own agency practices in hopes that an exchange of ideas will promote change and improved community health outcomes.
