The self-paced online module will inform OB nurses about current perinatal outcome data for the US and NC. It will also provide strategies to improve nursing practice with the goal of improving outcomes.

Complete and pass the post test (obtain at least 80% pass rate)
Complete the program evaluation

• Discuss the current perinatal outcome metrics for the US and North Carolina.
• Discuss the racial disparities of perinatal healthcare including current outcome data, and strategies to address the disparities.
• Provide strategies for perinatal nurses to improve outcomes for birthing families in North Carolina.
