"5210 Healthy Together" is an evidence-based messaging and strategy for coaching caregivers on how to build healthier nutrition and physical activity habits for the children under their care. But how empowered do lower-income caregivers feel when offered that instruction by providers? Examine the findings from a recent community-based participatory research study conducted in a lower-income neighborhood in the Charlotte-metro area. Learn how to make more effective resource referrals and learn ways to improve your empathic listening skills.
