Description

When designing education for adults, there are special considerations that will help the adult learner better grasp the content you are teaching.

This module will introduce you to those learning principles and elements of learning that will make your training more effective.

Method of participation: Online interactive activity, successful completion of post-test and evaluation.

Objectives

  • Identify the differences between an andragogical and pedagogical learner.
  • Explain Knowles’ six characteristics of adult learners and how to address those characteristics in the classroom.
  • List the four critical elements of learning and explain how to address those elements.
