Description

The CNE review course is designed to provide a review of content related to the test blueprint. This course is designed to facilitate learning for potential candidates and to allow the candidates to recognize areas where additional attention may be necessary

OBJECTIVES:
- Develop a comprehensive approach for CNE preparation.
- Delineate the eligibility requirements, registration process and scheduling process for the CNE examination.
- Provide appropriate resources for CNE test review
- Explain the CNE blueprint and its significance as a review tool
- Explore understanding of test item analysis and its significance
- Delineate nurse educator teaching strategies appropriate to desired learner outcomes
- Review innovative and creative teaching strategies that facilitate learning.
- Foster teaching strategies related to psychomotor, cognitive and affective development.
- Analyze nursing program policies and standards regarding admission and progression
- Explore program evaluation methods and educational outcomes.
- Delineate teaching, scholarship and service as related to nursing education
