The Young Women’s Breast Cancer Symposium 2021 is directed towards those involved in breast cancer patient-care (physicians, advanced practice practitioners, nurse navigators, nurses, nurse assistants and others) in medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology and genetics, as well as researchers involved in breast cancer and breast cancer patients.
A regional scientific symposium on treatment of breast cancer in young women under 40, geared towards education and information exchange among Levine Cancer Institute physicians, patient-care providers, researchers, and patients.
To update audience with leading-edge information on the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in young women with a particular focus on research, and to help define current standard of care for breast cancer and how it applies to younger women.
Does breast cancer in women under 40 need to be treated differently than for women over 40? This educational activity will help define current standard of care for breast cancer and how it applies to younger women.
