Description

We all have experiences that shape our beliefs, thoughts and worldview. Often times we interact in the world based on thes experiences unintentionally. As Human Service Professionals we impact others lives through these interactions. This workshop is the work of taking a deeper look into our self-awareness with self-assessment. This learning environment encourages and challenges human service practitioners and professionals to assess their self-awareness, cultural competency and implicit biases. This assessment will provide information as to how we can improve our services to others especially in vulnerable populations. This is both lecture and interactive style learning.
