Description

Apraxia of speech and aphasia with phonemic paraphasia are the primary speech production disorders that occur after left hemisphere stroke. Intervention options are considered in light of prognosis, diagnosis and anticipated outcomes.

The purpose of this workshop is to identify strategies that maximize the impact of speech therapy on these disorders. Participants will practice strategies for supporting intrinsic motivation and independent learning.
