Learn how to be aware of your feelings and manage those emotions to be more successful in the workplace.

What is emotional intelligence (EQ)? Are you aware of your feelings and able to manage those emotions? When you are emotionally intelligent, you are better equipped to manage change, solve problems, handle challenging situations and cope with stress in an effective manner. Emotional intelligence can also lead to greater success in the workplace. We will explore four skill components: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management. We will discover strategies to improve EQ skills and discuss how to implement those strategies into your personal and professional life.

Emotional Intelligence 2.0 Book by Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves Emotional Intelligence Assessment will be provided as part of the program.

Bring your laptop, tablet, or iPad with you to class. Your will complete the assessment during class.

Credit Information
The Charlotte AHEC is authorized to award 4.0 hours of pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit for this program toward advancement, or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in this program wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit must self-report their participation. To self-report, participants must log into their MyAHEC account and select “My Education Credit” to log hours earned.
