Description

The goal of this workshop is to learn and implement The Enneagram Approach to Recovery, an innovative method that integrates the Enneagram and The Twelve Steps to Recovery as a tool for understanding patient’s personality types and how it affects their behavior patterns. This training uses the Enneagram to explain the range of personality types and The Twelve Steps as a clear step-by-step plan to implement change in the patient’s patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving.
Focused on an in-depth presentation of the Enneagram, participants will learn to identify the full spectrum of human consciousness, strategies for development, methods of self-observation and a clear feel for the inner world of each type. The Enneagram is a powerful tool to understanding personality, providing numerous practical and often immediate clinical applications. There are nine distinct personality types which reveal the spectrum of perspectives that inform our approach to engaging in personal and professional relationships. The Enneagram teaches the strengths and potentials of each personality type as well as the unconscious patterns of perception for each type.
Participants will learn how to apply The Enneagram Approach to Recovery. They will learn the Twelve Step Process and how to use the Twelve Steps in combination with each Enneagram type to help them design an effective plan for client development and personal growth. While this training is applicable to those in traditional recovery, The Enneagram Approach to Recovery focuses on The Twelve Steps as a tool for all aspects of personal growth and higher levels of functioning
