Description

Oncology Rehab has changed so much, what are the newest evidence based practices that will help patients achieve the best possible outcomes, yet be realistic to their time or insurance visit restrictions?

As a therapist, our compassion often yields us to not pushing our oncology care population as much as our orthopedic population. Learn how to distinguish a “soft” limitation from a “hard” limitation in regards to lymphatic vessels, soft tissue, mental emotional barriers and exercise.

For many cancer patients, learning their new normal and rehabilitating to that optimum level is as important as the acute oncology care. Learn how to facilitate that recovery physically and also add to their functional gains by addressing psychosocial issues as well.

This course certification will give you the tools you need to create an effective short term rehab plan as well as allowing the patient to participate in a practical progression of long term self rehabilitation.
