Target Audience

Healthcare professionals and anyone interested in learning the process for creating new habits

Description

Most people think you must have willpower to change our behavior. That's not entirely true. A Stanford scientist created a breakthrough method to form new habits without relying on willpower or motivation. In this workshop you will learn an easy process to create new habits that can have a lasting impact on your health and well-being.

After participating in the initial workshop, participants will invest 5 minutes a day for 5 days practicing and refining the tiny habits they have chosen to work on. Participants will receive a daily check-in and personal guidance from the instructor.

Workshop participants will meet virtually for a second session on October 27th at 9:00 am - 10:00 am for a discussion of what worked for them and how they can carry their tiny habits forward.

The Charlotte AHEC is authorized to award 4.75 hours of pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit for this program toward advancement, or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in this program wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit must self-report their participation. To self-report, participants must log into their MyACHE account and select “My Education Credit” to log hours earned.
