Description

In recent years the corporate environment has become increasingly diverse with the fastest growing population being people of color. However, there continues to be a pronounced gap in salary, promotion, and paths to leadership which are primary contributing factors to high turnover and low employee satisfaction for this demographic. To combat barriers and develop a strong strategic plan for self-development, this session will explore:
• Critical understanding of adaptability, self-awareness and interpersonal skills.
• Unconscious bias and stereotyping
• Identifying and establishing a strong personal brand and brand management
• Exploring strategic mentorship, sponsorships and networking for advancement.
• Interact with other professionals who are involved in advancing women.
