Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Nurses

Description

This one-hour workshop for healthcare providers (including physicians, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, mental health providers, and other personal care providers) will improve awareness and care of LGBTQ individuals in the healthcare setting. PFLAG Charlotte leaders will share personal stories, discuss culturally relevant LGBTQ terminology, identify social and health challenges and barriers to care, discuss strategies and steps to providing affirming care, and share local and national resources.
