Featured Speaker on Sustaining New Innovations
Rebecca R. Kitzmiller, PhD, MHR, RN, BC
UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing
This presentation is being offered in cooperation with UNC CH SON
Dr. Kitzmiller is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina, School of Nursing and within the Carolina’s Health Informatics Program. She also serves as Consulting Associate at the Duke University School of Nursing. Nearly two decades of organizational leadership and informatics experience in the US Army and Duke University Health System informs Dr. Kitzmiller’s research interest in implementation. Dr. Kitzmiller’s research seeks to identify strategies that will improve implementing and sustaining of new practices in health care settings.
Participants will be able to utilize and implement the knowledge gained from this symposium focusing on nursing researches/evidence-based nursing practices into their practice to improve patient care.
Call for Abstracts
Nurses are invited to submit abstracts reporting their research studies, evidence-based practice (EBP) projects or performance improvement (PI) projects. All abstracts are due July 12, 2021. All will be notified by August 1, 2021. Registration and attendance is required.
