Description

This knowledge-based CPE activity will provide a basic overview of migraine pathophysiology, treatment modalities, and emerging research. The focus of the presentation will be on all available old and new therapy options for treating migraines and appropriate drug selection based on patient characteristics.

  • Compare and contrast available guidelines for treatment of diabetes in older adults.
  • Discuss advantages and disadvantages of various medications used for the treatment of diabetes in older patients.
  • Explain different means of monitoring glucose patterns in older adults with diabetes.
