Social workers, psychologists, licensed professional counselors, educators, school personnel, mental health professionals, clinicians, health and human service practitioners, and other health care professionals.

Description

Telehealth services have gone from necessary to preferred for any consumers. This training will inform participants of ethical standards necessary for service delivery using innovative skills and best practices. This training has an emphasis on licensing board requirements in conjunction to HIPPA requirements for provision of services. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in vignettes to help increase critical thinking skills surrounding telehealth, cultural competencies, and clever ideas for boosting interest in telehealth services.

  • Identify potential issues with telehealth and determine how to correct
  • Examine ethical considerations for the use of telehealth
  • Identify helpful tips and ideas for better telehealth engagement with consumers.
