Research suggests that high-quality data, appropriate analytic tools, and cultural competency facilitates
accurate interpretation of data while fostering the advancement of health equity. The goal of this presentation
is to build a culture of health among healthcare practitioners through collaborative efforts in the data
interpretation process and increased cross-cultural competency. Drawing from evidence-based practice, the
seminar will highlight the significance of monitoring health disparities, examining differences in health
outcomes between population groups, and healthcare system-level factors that are significant contributors to
advancing health equity.
