An overview of the processes put in place to help expand technology throughout the healthcare system as a strategy to reduce clinician exposure and help preserve personal protective equipment (PPE) will be presented. Nursing specific collaboration will highlight how workflows were modified to provide clinical and psychosocial support to both VCC and bedside colleagues. It will also describe the use of high-risk teammates to augment VCC staff during potential COVID-19 surge and management of rapidly evolving COVID-related information to ensure best practices were utilized.
