Description

Human trafficking is a complex public health issue that is receiving increasing attention across communities, but which remains unrecognized or misunderstood by many. This session will offer an overview of the nature and types of human trafficking, to include both sex and labor trafficking of minors and adults. Federal and state legislation will be presented, along with local and regional response. Action steps and links to resources will be provided.
