Target Audience

Any licensed personnel interested in learning how Clinical Aromatherapy can supplement current medical interventions to improve patient experience, reduction of symptoms such as anxiety, nausea, pain, insomnia, etc. Personnel included: RNs, LPNs, RTs, OTs, STs, PTs, NPs, PAs, MD, Rad Techs, Massage Therapists, Chaplains, Chaplain residents, Integrative Health Practitioners or Integrative Health Volunteers.

Description

Build on the information provided in Inhaled Clinical Aromatherapy in this Level II course that explores the use of common essential oils to promote health and wellness.

Building on the information provided in Inhaled Clinical Aromatherapy, ICA Level II is an exploration of using subtle qualities of some common essential oils to promote health and wellness by addressing aspects of the entire person…body, mind and spirit. Discussions will include the use of essential oils with multi-factorial challenges such as grief, addiction and others introduced by class participants.

  • Identify subtle qualities of essential oils that can be used to support the client’s mind, body and spirit in a holistic way.
