Target Audience

Health Educators, Health Coaches, Nutritionists, Dietitians and other applicable Healthcare Professionals working with Clients/Patients for health and wellness improvement

Description

The goal of our health coaching basic course is to offer instruction on the skills, techniques and competences needed to be an effective Health Coach. This course will help attendees to reinforce an individual’s capacity to achieve short and long-term health goals. Health coaches interact with clients or patients one-on-one or within small groups. Health coaching can be done face-to-face, by telephone, instant messenger, email or with an online journal.

Attendees will learn how to help motivate clients to make healthy behavior changes to reach their highest level of health and improve their quality of life. Skills include holding clients accountable, and identifying obstacles to change and creating strategies for forward movement.
