Description

The Instructions for Accessing course Materials and Self Study Exam Information will be sent to you as soon as your registration for this program is received. Once you begin the self-study portion of this program, there is a $125 non-refundable charge.

This practice-based CPE activity will provide pharmacists with the skills necessary to become primary sources for vaccine advocacy, education, and administration. The program reviews the basics of immunology, identifies legal and regulatory issues pharmacists must consider before starting an immunization program, and focuses on practice implementation.

This program is conducted in two parts: The self-study and the live training. The self-study needs to be completed prior to the live training on May 4, 2019. Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to participants who successfully complete all program components, including an evaluation.

The Instructions for Accessing Course Material and Self Study Exam will be emailed to you. It is imperative that you complete and pass the self-study component and complete the self-study assessment questions with a grade of 70% or higher prior to attending the live seminar on May 4, 2019. Once you begin the self-study portion of this program, there is a $125 nonrefundable charge.

Continuing Education Credit For Pharmacists:
The American Pharmacists Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The home-study portion of the Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate training program is approved for 12 contact hours (1.2 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit (UAN 0202-9999-17-160-H06-P). The live training seminar is approved for 8 contact hours (0.8 CEU) of continuing pharmacy education credit (UAN 0202-9999-17-161-L06-P)
