Description

Women with chronic health conditions desire to breastfeed their infant for the health benefits. However, they struggle with many concerns related to their prescribed medication and the effect on their infant and the ability to produce enough milk for their infant. This workshop will focus on supporting women with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, obesity, depression, and opioid dependency to breastfeed their infant successfully.
