Objectives

  • Distiguish Biliary Atresia from other causes of jaundice.
  • Identify symptoms and means of screening for Biliary Atresia.
  • Identify the criteria used to confirm the diagnosis in patients.
  • Understand the Kasai surgical procedure and complications that can be seen in patients post Kasai surgery.
  • Verbalize outcomes for patients post Kasai.
