Description

Most of us start our career having learned a great deal about a field of study. This is true whether we study technology, finance or medicine. Early in our careers, the more we learn about our discipline, the more we are rewarded. This leads us to believe that the path to ultimate career success depends on becoming the “smartest and most highly skilled" person in that discipline. Unfortunately while having strong skills is important, it’s not enough. It turns out that we need different skills, AND different thinking.

In this fun and interactive workshop we will talk about the two myths that you may believe which are holding you back in your career, and the four levels of thinking that are required to help you reach higher levels of success. You’ll leave the workshop with an understanding of what it takes to tweak your thinking to be a more effective leader, new practical skills to help you influence others, and a specific, personalized action plan to grow your influence.
