You know that air pollution exacerbates asthma, but did you know that it’s also associated with heart disease, low birth weight, dementia, Parkinson’s, behavioral problems, diabetes and obesity? Learn how air pollution affects your patients’ health, and how you can help protect your patients from the dangers of exposure to air pollution. This presentation is relevant for physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and other allied health workers.
Method of participation: Online audio/video lecture, case review, successful completion of post-test and evaluation.
