What is Charlotte AHEC eLink?

Charlotte AHEC eLink is a full-scale e-learning tool and online meeting environment. Charlotte AHEC eLink offers online education and learning opportunities to participants from anywhere, where learning is convenient.

How do I register?

You must first register for any of the available eLink modules on our website. Once you have completed the registration process you will receive a confirmation email. Unless otherwise noted, you will receive a link to begin your online module. If you are taking a Charlotte AHEC eLink module for the first time you will need to click on the Register link where you will provide your email address and create a password. If you have previously taken a Charlotte AHEC eLink module please click the Login link.

What is my login?

Your login will be the email address you provided during the eLink registration process.

How do I reset my password?

If you can't remember your password, click the "Forgot your password" link on the login page. You will need to type your email address and click submit. You will soon receive an email containing a link and instructions on setting your new password.

NOTE: After receiving your e-mail you will have 24 hours to use the included link to set your new password. If you have not set your password within 24 hours you will need to repeat this process.

How do I navigate and adjust the volume of the module?

The volume is turned up in the module. Why do I not hear anything?

Even though the volume may be turned up in the navigation controls, please make sure your computer speakers are not muted. If using a Windows-based PC please check and make sure your wave volume is turned up as well.

Why do I get a blank screen? Why won't the module load?

Charlotte AHEC eLink is flashed-based. Please make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer. Click here to test your computer's setup for Charlotte AHEC eLink. Click here to go to Adobe's website and download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. Please see our System Requirements page for further information.

Why does it say I am not authorized for this training?

If you need access to training you are not yet authorized to receive, please contact the Charlotte AHEC eLink team with your name and the title of the training you are trying to access. You will be notified when your request has been completed.

I didn't finish the module, how do I get back to the module again?

The link was provided in your registration email. Click on the link in your email and click Login.

I couldn't finish the module, how do I get back to where I left off?

You will first need to login using the link provided in your registration email. Once you have logged in you may select the slide you were previously on via the navigation sidebar on the right hand side.

I have taken the post-test 3 times, but I did not pass. How do I take the test again?

Please contact the Charlotte AHEC eLink team via email with your name and the title of the module. We will reset the post-test and you will have an additional 3 attempts to pass the post-test. You will be notified when your reset has been completed.

I can't print my certificate because my printer is not working or I am not connected to a printer. How will I receive my certificate?

Please save your certificate to your desktop. Otherwise there is a $15 charge for a copy of your certificate.
