August is National Immunization Awareness Month

National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) is an annual observance held in August to highlight the importance of vaccination for people of all ages. Healthcare professionals play a key role in educating parents and patients about the importance of vaccination. It’s important to ensure that patients are up to date on all vaccinations. Find key messages, sample social media, graphics, and educational resources to help healthcare professionals discuss options for vaccination with their patients and to foster support for immunization in their practices. Check out the CDC’s NIAM website for resources and toolkits.
