Self-Paced RN Refresher Program

Charlotte AHEC offers a self-paced Refresher Program for Registered Nurses who want to return to active clinical practice. The program has two parts: a correspondence course and a clinical practicum. The correspondence course consists of 23 modules which cover medical-surgical nursing concepts and may be completed at home, at your own pace. The clinical component is 160 hours of precepted clinical experience. This program is designed for nurses who have an inactive license or those who have been out of clinical nursing five years or more.
