Regularly-Scheduled Series
What are Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS)?
A Regularly Schedule Series is a planned activity occurring on going basis; it can be daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly. It is primarily planned and presented to the accredited provider's professional staff. Examples of RSSs include medical grand rounds, tumor boards, M&M Conferences and regularly scheduled departmental educational sessions.
Are you interested in planning an activity?
Please contact Charlotte AHEC's Continuing Medical Education (CME) team at least 4 months in advance for either a directly sponsored or jointly sponsored activity. Please note the ACCME standards are rigorous regarding academic need and measurable outcomes. A submitted application does not guarantee credit. All activities must demonstrate an impact on physician competence, physician performance, and/or patient outcomes. CME will guide you through the application and planning process to ensure that ACCME expectations and needs assessment are met and to see if your proposed activity qualifies for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Please contact us before submitting an application.
