One-Time Activities
What are Live OneTime Events?
These are CME activities that physicians must attend (in person or virtually), such as national conferences, live Internet teleconferences, local workshops, seminars, or departmental scientific meetings. Credit is awarded based on each hour of participation claimed by the physician rounded to the nearest quarter hour or 0.25 credit.
Are you interested in planning an activity?
Please contact Charlotte AHEC's Continuing Medical Education (CME) team at least 4 months in advance for either a directly sponsored or jointly sponsored activity. Please note the ACCME standards are rigorous regarding academic need and measurable outcomes. A submitted application does not guarantee credit. All activities must demonstrate an impact on physician competence, physician performance, and/or patient outcomes. CME will guide you through the application and planning process to ensure that ACCME expectations and needs assessment are met and to see if your proposed activity qualifies for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Please contact us before submitting an application.
