AHEC Quality Initiatives
Pediatric Developmental Screening
Charlotte AHEC is currently recruiting practices to participate in the Pediatric Developmental Screening initiative.
This initiative aims to integrate evidence-based, family-centered developmental screening tools into well child visits to correctly identify, refer, and monitor children who might benefit from early intervention services.
Participants will receive customized office tools, provider and patient education materials, and assistance to redesign office work flow and measure practice performance.
Pediatricians, Family Medicine Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are invited to participate. CME and CE credit will be awarded for in-practice activities.
